A manufactory relies on highly skilled employees. Long hours of practice have produced quite a few masters. Allow us to introduce some of them to you.

Inside MÜHLE: Dana Härtel

“Welcome to MÜHLE,” greets us Dana Härtel with her short reddish hair and big, friendly smile. The 45-year-old has been working at the company for four years after having gathered a lot of diverse professional experiences beforehand: “From my dream job as a flight attendant for a major German airline to being a wedding planner for a hotel, I’ve had quite a few experiences,” says Dana.

Now she has really settled in at the family-owned company MÜHLE. “I drive from my neighboring village, which is even smaller than Hundshübel, only ten minutes to get here. As a mother of twins, that is simply ideal for me.” And she loves the versatility of her work. As the head of the brand store at the companies headquarter and the MÜHLE services, she advises customers who come to the in-house shop in Stützengrün and is also responsible for handling returns and complaints. But there are also moments like the one recently that are part of her workday. A customer came back to the manufactory, having purchased a shaving set some time ago that was made in cooperation with Meissen Porcelain and had now shattered into a thousand pieces after a domestic accident. “That was really unfortunate and I felt really sorry,” she says. The best part for Dana is when she can advise her customers – for example, on the question: Which fiber should the shaving brush be – fine hair from a badger? Or the synthetic fiber creation Silvertip Fibre®, which she usually recommends? Her favorite moment: When the customers leave satisfied and with full bags.
