Inside MÜHLE: Doreen Winkler
With Doreen, things literally come together. For ten years, she has been working in the assembly at MÜHLE, and, for example, today she is responsible for ensuring that the handles of the Rytmo shaving brushes are assembled from several individual parts. She also has to keep a very close eye on the details: Is there still any impurity in the material of the chrome-plated parts? The slightest defect in the resin handle? The tiniest dent? “I am very picky,” she says. Well, thank goodness, we say!
With her hands hidden in gloves, she checks all the parts, polishes and rotates them, once, twice, three times, before screwing the chrome-plated base to the handle made of petrol-colored resin. Before that, she adds some thread locker, a type of light adhesive, to ensure the screw doesn’t loosen despite possible external influences. “In our team, we all pay attention to the quality of the individual parts – we want our customers to hold products in their hands that truly have a long lifespan.”
