Tobias Faisst’s view on materials, surfaces, and textures is always a play of associations. A photo series for MÜHLE.

Extreme Details

Berlin based photographer Tobias Faisst challenges the viewer. His perspective on materials, surfaces, and structures is always also a play of associations. When he is getting up-close, the results are no classical close-ups, but rather sculptural, almost abstract compositions. For this issue, Faisst has interpreted a number of MÜHLE-products with a fine sense of elegance and humour.

The handle of the safety-razor (Purist series) is made of briar wood, which is commonly used for making pipes
A MÜHLE classic: the R89 safety-razor made of chrome-plated brass
