A manufactory relies on highly skilled employees. Long hours of practice have produced quite a few masters. Allow us to introduce some of them to you.

Inside MÜHLE: Mareike Moser

Most MÜHLE products, whether unpacked by customers in New York or Dresden, Shanghai or Chemnitz, after a long or short journey to find their place in bathrooms around the world, first pass through the hands of Mareike Moser. As the head of the logistics department, she is responsible for the final inspection and packaging of all products made at the Hundshübel manufactory. She ensures that each item fits and shines as expected from MÜHLE. “Here in our department, the products see the light of day for the last time before they slip into their packaging,” says Mareike Moser.

She has also been a long-time employee, working for MÜHLE for 12 years. Prior to that, she worked in the hospitality industry, and she appreciates how the requirements of that time overlap with her current responsibilities: “Here, you also work with and meet a lot of people, and it’s about checking the products, preparing them – ensuring they bring joy to the customers,” says Moser. It’s similar to serving dishes in restaurants. “I really enjoy my work here – it feels like a family, we’re a really great team! The camaraderie and working together make it so much fun.”

Today, she has the Traditional R89 razor, the company’s bestseller, in front of her. It comes to her fully assembled from the production line. She carefully inspects it once more from all angles, gives it a final polish, and then it’s ready. Into the box. And out into the world.
